Studying the topic « Multiculturalism in London », Mrs Pindado’s pupils of 2de 2 have been focusing on British Cuisine for a month and a half. After several types of activities (listening comprehension, reading comprehension, web research, etc…), this week, their work and efforts were rewarded with two very pleasant activities:
1- In class, they tasted all the products they had done research on – going from the most… surprising (Marmite!!!) to the most scrumptious (Scottish shortbread!!!)
2- In the canteen, they were served a typical English breakfast, composed of baked beans, sausages, bacon, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, toast, butter and jam, tea and chocolate. It was delicious, and as you can see on the photos, they really did justice to it!
This was a real success, and I do want to thank all the people who took part in it directly or indirectly : the Bursar’s Department, Serunion and the staff working in the canteen.
