5ème LL : the new Aboriginal artists of the LFB

« These last few months, the 5eme LL class studied the history of Australia and its Aboriginal people. It was a rather large and interesting topic: we learned pretty much everything from its dazzling modern cities to its empty desertic lands. It was page after page of Aboriginal history, culture, stories and art that we learned that the Aborigines have values like everyone else in the world and live in close contact with nature. Finally, we ended the topic by reading a story about kids that escaped and walked 1800 kms home, watched the movie, did Aboriginal dot paintings and an oral presentation on the paintings. »
