“Fem Salut” project

FEM Salut is a health promotion strategy established within LFB in January 2011 in partnership with the Barcelona Public Health Agency (ASPB). Its objective is to put in place policies to create environments and behaviors favorable to the development of healthy lifestyles in schools.

This requires the participation, consensus and commitment of all members of the educational community: the administration, teachers, families and students. This project makes it possible to give consistency and continuity to health promotion so that there is no contradiction between what is said and what is done, behavior at school and behavior in families or the behavior of other professionals who are in contact with the school.

The Health and Citizenship Education Committee (CESC) is the steering committee of Fem Salut in the LFB. It defines areas of priority and controls all of the health and citizenship education activities carried out within LFB.
